For your bank

Built for the way Jordanian banks work

Green finance has moved from a marketing message to a regulated, audited and reported number. Here is how Xonomy helps each team, and how a bank gets started.

Who benefits in the bank

Board & executive management

A trusted view of the green book, green asset ratio, targets and trend, in a board pack ready to present.

Sustainability / ESG

One method for the whole bank, progress against green targets, and the ISSB disclosure drafted from real data.

Corporate & SME banking

Know in seconds whether a deal could qualify, win green deals faster, and give clients a verifiable green certificate.

Credit & risk

Maker–checker approval, clear reasons for every verdict, and alerts before evidence or green status expires.

Finance & regulatory reporting

CBJ returns, the regulator pack and period close produced in clicks, and reconciled to the core banking book.

Internal & external audit

A read-only auditor workspace, evidence packs and a tamper-evident record of who did what, and when.

Why banks need this now

Green finance has moved from a marketing message to a regulated, audited and reported number. Most banks still produce it by hand.

Regulation

The Central Bank's green finance agenda

Banks are expected to classify their financing against the national taxonomy and report green exposure in the CBJ's templates, period after period.

Disclosure

ISSB sustainability reporting

Listed banks and groups with international parents face IFRS S1 and S2 climate disclosure, including financed emissions, the hardest number for any bank.

Markets

Green bonds, sukuk and investors

Issuing green bonds or sukuk, or attracting climate funding, requires a defensible pool of eligible assets and proof of how the money was used.

Today's reality

Manual, slow and hard to defend

Analysts read a 150-page taxonomy, map each deal by hand and keep evidence in emails and folders. Results differ between people, and audits take weeks.

Questions banks ask

Does Xonomy replace our analysts' judgement?

No. It guides the work and applies the taxonomy rules consistently, but people answer the criteria, attach evidence and approve. AI suggestions are optional and always need a person to accept them.

What happens when the taxonomy is updated?

The new version is loaded alongside the old one. Xonomy shows what changed and which approved deals are affected; past assessments keep the version they were made under.

Will our auditors and the Central Bank accept the output?

Every result shows the criteria, answers, evidence, taxonomy version and who prepared and approved it. Auditors get their own read-only access and can sign off each period. CBJ returns follow the Central Bank's Model (3) template.

Does our data leave the bank?

No. Xonomy is installed on the bank's own servers and works without internet access. If you use the AI assistance, it talks only to the bank's own AI.

How long until we are live?

A pilot takes four weeks. Going live after a successful pilot is mostly installation on production, training and the first reporting period.

Can we start small?

Yes. Start with the core for one business line, then extend to the whole bank and add ISSB disclosure or financed emissions when needed.
